Y O L O (You Only Live Once)

There are 1440 minutes in each and every day and only you know how you will use them. Use them well! Before that let me throw some questions to you. Are you holding a grudge/anger/jealous/misunderstanding against anybody? If so what is the intensity behind this? Are you going to carry all these? Or is there any way to release it or channelize it? Make a list, identify the grudge or other emotions that you hold on, consider the background of the emotions, contemplate the other person’s well-being, and speak to the counsellor or therapist. More than these I would suggest YOLO. The real healing and uplifting of oneself is taking place by follow this.

YOLO?It’s something you hear people say, wear and even do. It’s something that changed people, it’s something you can act on. The meaning is simple and making sense to run for what I really want. YOLO means “You only live once”. It is intended as encouragement. March ahead off. Make it happen. Seize the day. Live as fully as you can. If not now, when? If not you, who? You are everything. You know yourself better than anybody else in the world. YOLO is an encouragement journey to channelize your thinking and others. Sometimes your inner conscious would hesitate to proceed with hardest thing.

All that is meant to be conveyed when someone says, “You only live once,” is the belief that life is valuable and ought to be fully experienced. Because life is too short to live in, it’s frequently used as a reminder to take chances, follow dreams, and seize opportunities. Thus, “YOLO” gained popularity as a catchphrase about accepting new experiences and leading a regret-free life. I suppose you could understand what I mean hear. It may be hard to understand but if you realize it your life will be directed as you like until then you need to work on it. Let me put another way, you have to merely do things well if you want to lead a happy and purposeful life! A single correct answer could last a lifetime. Moreover, adopting this philosophy can help you navigate particular stages of your development.

As I was searching articles on YOLO, I found YOLO book which was written by StutiChangle. I went through the book and its description. While I was reading I remembered of my cousin brother who died on 5th January 2018. At the age of 20 he met with an accident while he was travelling towards Kochi to fish by Omni vehicle with his other fellow fishermen. There were six of them travelled with him.Among them, my cousin brother was unconscious and the boat owner passed away instantly. The others all managed to flee with minor wounds. After being brought to General Hospital, the physicians informed the other fisherman that my cousin was too seriously ill and that the boat owner had passed away. After a day, the physicians determined that my cousin’s inability to sit or stand is due to a disk issue. Maintaining the same state he lived for around six or seven months. He adopted the strategy of accepting his issue and starting to value people. His profound wounds made it impossible for him to bear the torture. But his short period of life he has left the positive legacy of his own life. What kind of legacy is it? “Life is too short to fully comprehend everything.” Therefore, we must speak kindly of everyone and show generosity to those who are close to us while we are still alive. Yes remembering that life is a short trip and that we should make the most of our time on this planet is encouraged by the phrase “You only live once” (YOLO).
